Changing schools on an E-2 visa: your own place

Moving to a new hagwon when you rent your own home: the three applications you file at once, the 15-day deadline, and the documents you and your new school need.

This guide is for teachers who rent their own home. If your school provides your housing, read this version instead.

Already teaching in Korea on an E-2 and moving to a new school? You don't need a new visa, but you do need to report the move to immigration. At one visit you file three applications together: Change of Workplace, Extension of Sojourn Period and Alteration of Residence.
